All food waste can be fermented in the Hozelock Bokashi airtight container with the addition of Bokashi Bran before being turned into nutrient- rich compost when added to a traditional compost bin.

HOW TO USE

1. Position 20ml of activator at the bottom of the bucket.
2. Cut into small pieces in order to accelerate decomposition.
3. Pour on the food waste.
4. Pack the waste in order to remove air pockets.
5. On each layer of waste, place 20ml of the Bokashi activator.
6. Put the cover on and ensure the lid is sealed.
7. Recover the liquid fertiliser every 3 to 5 days*
8. After 14 days the compost is ready.**

* This juice is used as plant fertiliser, with a 1/100 dosage. When the bucket is full, leave it closed for 14 days. Continue opening the valve every 3 to 5 days in order to collect the fermentation l
